Absolutely fresh and delicious lunch. I really like the Tuna melt, but there's other great choices to. Love their ice tea. The prices are very reasonable for what you receive. The place is tiny, so dinning-in may not be available. Advice for summer patrons, call your order in a couple of hours early because the line could get rather long. The owner is a real gentleman and the counter girl is a doll, so be nice and throw a few bucks in the tip jar for the young lady even if your picking up. Oh and parking can get rather tight.

I had the plain French toast, not a lot of food but filling and tasted great! Paid 9.45, so a little pricey but not bad. Waited a long time for food but they only have a small kitchen.

Love this little takeout gem on Main Street in downtown Wolfeboro. The tables are teeny and few, but if you're lucky enough to get a spot outside on the small porch on a pretty day, you have a great perch for people watching and enjoying your meal. I always disliked spinach but their spinach salad topped with crispy, thin, pressed bacon made me a believer again. Never had a dish here that I didn't like. Portions are generous enough that I usually have a few bites to save for later. Lovely people and friendly vibe. Now I just wish they had room to expand! :)

Top notch food, excellent omelettes and wonderful coffee! Plus some cool designs in the table.

Absolutely love this place. There is nothing on the menu that isn’t delicious. I enjoy having a sandwich at breakfast for myself, however knowing that I can get either breakfast or lunch anytime of the day is a winner. I love their bowls= yummy. Also, their curry bowl is equally as good. Their coffee is always fresh and they have a good selection of other drinks. Thank you Lydia’s for a job well done.

Fantastic place to stop for breakfast! It's actually a small cafe that's in the same building as an accompanying store, so it's not going to have a lot of wiggle room with only three tables... but it's a pretty cozy spot to relax for a bit. The tables are etched with local designs. Hardwood floors and beams. It's nice. When we were there, service was by teens doing their part-time diligence, but it was still good, prompt, and polite. Not much of a coffee selection while we were there but I'm sure it fluctuates. (Just a dark, medium, and decaf roast with a variety of complements.) The menu is simple, which is good. Food was great. The pancakes are HUGE, so getting just one for $7 but served with a small dish of real maple syrup and butter hit the spot. I got a blueberry one and it is homemade with plenty of fruit in it. My wife got the raspberry French toast and although it says it comes with flavored syrup, it actually has tons of compote fruit loaded on top... and I was jealous. =p Highly recommended!

Since I can remember, Lydia's has been my favorite place to eat in town. And, though it is a deeply nostalgic experience for me, I am happy to report that the magic of a hot, fresh, bigger-than-your-head Lydia's blueberry pancake is not quelled by age. I'm 21 years old now and living a few steps down the road. Though I didn't think it possible, my regard for this tiny, cozy kitchen has only grown. I can't imagine my hometown without (chef/owner) Hunter's cooking. The coffee & food are best in town (& most affordable). My go-to order is a peppermint patty latte (warning: so good its addictive. my favorite of their specialty lattes. amazing take on a mocha-type-situation) and a raspberry french toast (tart. bright. sweet. creamy. best eaten fresh, so you get the temperature contrast of the hot raspberry compote and the cold whipped cream). If you come through town, this place is a must-stop. Don't expect an over-the-top California welcome---Lydia's is no-nonsense good. No frills, no posturing, just real, home-cooked food in a relaxed environment. All around incredible joint with the most kind, true New England down-to-earth, small town supporting staff, and truly the best cooking this side of the Mississippi. America might run on Dunkin', but Wolfeboro runs on Lydia's!
