First time coming here and we loved it. The food was amazing, big portions and delicious. Service was also great. Our server was very passionate about his food and enthusiastically explained the dishes for us and gave us some recommendations. Clean place and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

A brand-new reason to visit Auckland! A huge thank you to my colleague for bringing this incredible biriyani all the way from Auckland to Christchurch — I truly appreciate the effort and the hassle you went through. I just had one of the most amazing lunches I’ve had in years. The taste instantly took me back to Dhaka, Bangladesh — the flavours, the aroma, and the feeling of home in every bite. The amount of care and passion you put into this food is truly appreciated. It reminded me of my own city and brought back so many memories. Highly recommended! I will definitely be visiting when I’m in Auckland to experience it again.

Did not think I would enjoy Bengali cuisine but this was a culinary delight! The flavours and textures were so delicious and the service was wonderful too. Their muglai paratha (egg paratha) was fresh and crispy on the outside. Highly recommend!

My first time at Boishakhi and we decided to be adventurous. The friendly service staff recommended the beef tehari and fuska, and both were absolutely delicious. 10/10 ended our meal with a malai chai. So yum. Really great flavors! highly recommend!

This is the only Bengali restaurant I know of in New Zealand. The food was excellent and I was surprised by the quality and the variety. They don’t just stick to basic Bengali dishes; they also have specialty items like an assortment of Bhurtas. It’s not every day, but they have it on weekends and some other days, I think. The owner was super nice, high‑energy, and even gave us some free food.

Every time i come here, food quality gets better and better. All the dishes r reasonably priced, in some cases i feel like it’s a steal! Definitely recommend everyone to come and try this only Bangladeshi cuisine restaurant in New Zealand. I will highly recommend this place over most Indian restaurants without any hesitation. Will keep on adding pictures and recommendations the more i visit this place.

First time eating from a Bangladeshi restaurant. We managed to get in 15 mins before closing time. A lot of dishes we wanted to try were not available due to closing time.. but we had the jhal muri, kebabs, beef teheri and Mutton Biriyani. The flavour was amazing. It is truly a different style of cooking. Next time I would like to try the Fuska and Vorta Platter. Thank you team for getting those dishes ready in the last minute.
