Lovely cosy and charming restaurant with seating indoors and outdoors. Staff were friendly and attentive Huge pasta menu : ), the amatriciana was delicious
A great place for dinner in Yarraville, with a warm welcome from the staff and just the right amount of attention as the food came out. From the bruschetta to the cozze, then the pasta and tiramisu, the food was excellent (and hope the photos do it justice - the empty plate was the tiramisu. Definitely coming back!
We’re a family that loves going out and trying new Italian restaurants, and Terroni Cafe is easily one of the best we’ve been to. Everything we ordered was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a family meal, and the service made us feel right at home. We’re so glad we gave this place a try and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good Italian food! Thank you, The Valente Family
Hands down best Italian I’ve ever been too. 100% recommend!
We had dinner at Café Terroni in Yarraville last Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were warm, attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. The food was wholesome, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was well balanced and satisfying. The area itself is lively and charming — dining outdoors and soaking up the atmosphere of the busy little alley made the night even more enjoyable, especially with the beautiful weather. A lovely spot for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner.
A charming southern Italian-style tavern offering simple starters alongside more substantial pasta and protein-based mains. Service was generally efficient, though occasionally a little slow, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the dishes makes them feel justified. The wine list could be more exciting - surprisingly, no Sicilian wines were on offer despite the restaurant’s Sicilian inspiration. The handwritten specials board reads authentically, but some dishes are hard to make out; the staff could do more to spruik them. That said, the chitarra marinara and tiramisu were delicious and quickly devoured, and the staff were friendly and polite, even while managing some rather uncouth customers.
