We had spent a day at the beach in Holland. We looked online for a vegan meal and didn't find much that was still open. Fresh Basil Cafe was kind of close and they were open later than most places. We drove to Saugatuck, not knowing anything about the town, and absolutely loved it there. Very cool town, hopping place, with lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful area. The Vegan Wrap (basically a falafel wrap) was excellent. We eat a lot of falafel and this was pretty good stuff. The kids got a Chicken Ontario Panini, and Lobster Roll. The panini was, "amazing", and my other child enjoyed his lobster roll. The only thing I didn't care for was they had bottle water and no regular free option. Not a fan when places that do that.
It was really busy when we were there. We were able to snag a table and food was out in under 10 minutes despite it being packed. We both got paninis and our friends go a pizza and a panini. The paninis were not over cooked so they were nice and crispy and they have a lot of varieties to pick from. We had the Havana Night and the Albacore. The pizza had pepperoni, onion, banana pepper with red sauce and cheese. It was overall a really nice experience. Expect to pay about $30 for two people and drinks. It was one of the only places open on a Monday during lunch that had a good variety. If you're looking for a quick bite, I would definitely suggest this place.
I dropped by here for a quick lunch, and I have to say I was happy with my experience. The staff was professional, and the menu was pretty expansive. There are lots of vegetarian options, but I went with the Istanbul Panini. This sandwich had lots of melted cheese, greens, and sujuk sausage. The sausage really brought a lot of flavor from different spices, so I can see why it’s one of their recommended dishes. They had seating inside, but the outdoor seating is especially nice in good weather. It’s very easy to relax and enjoy your meal. If you have room at the end, they also have Palazzolo’s gelato for dessert. It’s a great little cafe with relatively cheap options for Saugatuck, so it’s worth a try.
I got the lobster roll with fries and my friend got a falafel wrap. Both of them were very delicious! The food came out quickly to our table. The staff was very helpful, there is a large menu with lots of delicious options, and the restaurant was clean. We were treated kindly as well. I recommend this place if you are in the area.
Best service, fresh food, lovely outdoor dining area. We ordered the Havana nights, breakfast sandwich with avocado and bacon, falafel wrap. All were delicious. Ordered a café latte, which was just OK. Overall, highly recommend.
The food was delicious, but the coffee was so weak. My 4 shot mocha (I paid for 2 extra shots) tasted like warm milk with a bit of chocolate (I asked for 1/2 sweet). My partner’s Americano was also super weak. Would return for the delicious food but avoid the coffee and go to the nearby coffee shop.
Got wraps to go. They have a decent amount of seating outside. Lots of food options, primarily Mediterranean type food. We got the capri and chicken wraps. Both were better than expected, fresh ingredients, and travelled well. When you get tired of pizza this is a great option for takeout, or to grab food before headed to the lake.
