Hamburgers were delicious. Best burguer Ive had in my life!! Also ordered onion rings and classic fries. Fries have a seasoning that is very flavorful. The waffle fries are amazing as well. Service is great as well and very much appreciated the generous military discount. Thanks for your support Peanut Gallery!!! The downstairs area has board games, a couple of arcades and a tv. Bathroom is downstairs too. Came back a week after I wrote this review and I feel like it was even better!!! We tried ice cream shakes are they were perfect!

This is one of the best burgers o have had in a while! I was surprised how good it was! Also military gets 50% off so dont forget to ask! I came here with some friends and we walked up and placed our order right away. The inside had a very simple but inviting vibe with a self serve soft drink station. You place the order then grab a seat and theh bring the food out to you. I ordered the ODB burger and a side of cheese fries with ranch. The burger was so juice and very well seasoned with bacon that was a little too crispy for my taste.. but my friend's burger had bacon that was cooked perfectly and not crispy so we switched bacon straps lol. The sauce on the burger was really nice and the pickled jalapeños really complimented all the flavors nicely. The fries were cooked perfectly also with a satisfying crunch on the outside and pillowy soft in the inside. The ranch was just okay. Not a house made ranch, just a bit sour but still good. The cheese was also a nice touch but it ended up getting cold fast so dipping fries in it was a little challenging. They also serve ice cream here! My friend got a smores ice cream with pumpkin ice cream in it and the marshmallow qas perfectly toasted! It was beautiful! Ranch score: 6/10 Over all the service was good, the food was freshly made and absolutely excellent and the price is well worth the amount of food you get! I will definitely be back!

I had the Iron Flag, Dirty chicken and my wife had the impossible burger. The food was fantastic, one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this spot.

The burgers are good and affordable. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. It has an arcade in the basement, which is where I ate. I also found one of these toys in the claw machine. Someone must have forgot it and left it there for me to find.

In town for Navy Recruit Graduation and stopped here for lunch. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had the OBD Burger, a build your own burger, and the Korean Hot Chicken Sandwich, We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer, YUM! My wife had the Anti Hero IPA on draft and my daughter and I had a craft root beer. We got ice cream before we left to walk around the nearby shops. The town of Lake Forest is so beautiful. The passenger train passes through the area. Great location to eat!! I would recommend a stop at The Peanut Gallery if you are looking for a delicious quick bite and want to experience the town of Lake Forest.

Yall...this hole in the wall is amazing!! We came from Texas to see our son graduate from the Navy. We came in, they had some issues due to electricity outage due to a storm. They couldn't get the fryers lit but we stayed and let them get up and running. Let me tell you that was the best burger I have ever had. My husband and I had the Iron Flag. I could have kissed their chef. Even though we couldn't get sides the burger made up for it all. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.!!! we were so full from the burger and rum root beer float we didnt really need any sides. And I dont even like root beer!! The burger was absolutely perfect. Seasoned, burger lace you expect from a smash burger. Double patty, toasted to perfection bun, The horseradish aioli and the Dijon mustard paired with the Swiss cheese and onion strings blew my mind. Literally the best burger I have ever had. Their ice cream is to die for. Im in the area for 6 days and I'm so sad I spent 2 days here without finding this place. We will be back every day until we have to fly home. Don't sleep on this. Im a harsh critic being a chef for 20 years and teaching culinary classes. 2nd edit we went back today and let me tell you...I had the Pollo Cubano. Still the best "burger" yall have to check this place out. I got another rum beer float but got cream soda instead of root beer. Absolute game changer. I wish I could pack them up and take them back to Texas with us. DO. NOT. SLEEP. ON. THIS. PLACE.

I found out about the peanut gallery on tiktok of all places. Going from a video to in person DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Im a huge smash burger lover. So much so that i usually treat myself by driving to schoops in Michigan city Indiana for what i thought was the best smash burger around............... Let me tell you! These guys know how to smash a burger! My burger was sloppy,juicy and finger licking good. I also had a custom shake ( fat elvis/ strawberry mix) and buffalo frys that were delicious. I found my new favorite burger spot. If your reading the reviews wondering if you should try The Peanut Gallery Definitely do.

The burgers are delicious! I think one of the best burgers I have ever had. I would 100 % go again. I had the yes to happiness milkshake and it was soo good. The staff was friendly and the food came fast. There is a small downstairs area with extra seating and a few games to play.
