Oasis Restaurant

Restaurant right on the harbor. It's a convenient location with a pretty view and tent for a little reprieve from the heat - especially if you've just visited the archeological museums. Food was pretty good, but quite overpriced. The feta baked in phyllo with honey (a starter) was pretty killer.

Granny and nephew's business, old mamma cooks delicious stuff and nephew serves the meals to the guests with a friendly smile. Their kleftiko with typical potatoes was very yummy as well as simple salad. Mandarin juice in a bottle was quite sweet but tasty too. They also sell some typical wine, biscuits and other local produce there. Interior is very vintage and I would sa, quite typical for Cyprus .

Authentic Hidden Gem! Oasis is a lovely restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Cypriot cuisine — not your typical tourist trap. The food is fresh and full of traditional flavor, and the service is warm and welcoming. A real local gem we’d highly recommend!

After visiting Choirokitia Neothelic Settlement, I stopped at Oasis for a coffee, as the bus stop for the intercity bus is just outside. As I only had 20 minutes I have orders a Cypriot coffee which it has taken less than 2 minutes to make. The service was quick and the owner friendly.

I like this local tavern for its delicious food, big portions and very quick and nice service! My recommendation!

Amazing traditional Cypriot cuisine. You won't find another place like it. It's a family run place and the mother (in her 70's) is the chef, they do daily specials. 100% home cooked meals. 10 out of 10
