When I saw the menu was limited to baked potatoes and salads I was skeptical. This is not a typical restaurant but more of a local family sharing their love for food and friends. The food is nothing short of amazing. The signature potato is topped with buffalo chicken and it is the best I have ever had. If you like your buffalo chicken to have a bite this is for you. The service is super friendly and they value every single friend they meet. Do not miss this gem

Had baked chicken on the side and a buffalo chicken loaded potato. Serving sizes are huge! Everything is delicious. They had what looked like pound cake for sale . Looked heavenly. Great people. Friendly. Ate half the potato and im full.

Wonderful. This place was recommended and it was great. Potatoes cooked perfectly. Had to take home the extras because we weren’t able to finish the large portion.

Probably the best baked potato i have ever had and it was huge. The buffalo chicken dip is absolutely delicious. They are so friendly and make it such a great place. Will definitely be back. UPDATE. Second visit as great as the first and hope to make many more visits anytime i pass thru town

Great place will definitely come back next time I'm in town the food was great the brisket bake potatoe the chilli dogs am the meat loaf dinner.... if you're in the dayton ohio area or passing thur most definitely stop thur. IT'S A VIBE be for sure when you come in it makes you feel like home Big shout to the staff the owners are great family astomphere you get good food and The mother has the smell good oil for you there also its a great situation when you go there price are great .... the best brisket potato i can go on about this place greatness everyone go sure support won't be disappointed

They had great salad, chicken wings and Mac and cheese. My sister also loves the bake potatoes! For dessert please get some of their lemon pound cake! You can also order ahead. Really all their food is great! Ok delicious!! Say hello, family when you go in!

I ordered take out; baked wings (3 large whole wings) with mac and cheese on Monday. On Tuesday I came back for a meatloaf dinner that included collard greens and macaroni and cheese. Both meals were delicious. In my opinion the servings were enough for two! Everyone can't prepare meatloaf. The Palmer place can. It is delicious. Both meals were delicious. The atmosphere nice, kind of like a place where everybody knows your name. It was clean and the service was good. The Palmer place family restaurant is not a fast food restaurant. Therefore it takes time to prepare delicious meals like this. I definitely call ahead to see if certain items are available.The price is fair to what you receive. SIDE NOTE: their meals are Southern cooking at its best!
