El Turco

This is a really good resturant and they have good food i don’t know why they are not that popular. They have plates that are cheaper and tastier than surrounding restaurants. Also it’s halal! The only negative point is that they serve coca cola, after 2 years of genocide can’t you find an alternative?

First time trying Turkish food and might I say, I’ve now saved a lot on a plane ticket as this experience took me there in mouth full! It’s amazing how flavourful everything was and how unique each dish was. The meats were so tender and well seasoned. And the dips just brought everything to life. 10/10 experience amazing service as well, would highly recommend, the place should be packed out every night

The most delicious Turkish food I've have ever eaten. Absolutely fantastic service, the staff are friendly, the customer service is 10/10 and the food is to die for. I'll definitely be coming back again. The best restaurant in Lygon Street

Genuinely fantastic foodthank you so much for the lovely evening and for the authentic Turkish food. Generous servings with a lovely smile. Try the thin pide/pizza like lahmacun is so yummy. Künefe was the best finishing touch as a dessert with your Turkish cofee. Highly recommended

Decent Turkish Restaurant on Lygon Street, Melbourne. The Adana kebab had good portion size and had good sides of tomato, onion and chilli. There was a good portion of bread but it didn’t taste the most fresh. The manti was really good as well - it was small dumplings filled with meat. It had a delicious creamy consistency. This place is relatively new and is less packed out compared to nearby restaurants, but certainly worth trying. The ambience is nice and good for a date/small group. The staff are very friendly and service time was very reasonable. Thank you!

My new go-to Turkish restaurant. The owner was so friendly and we had a really nice chat. Food was amazing, they even gave us a complimentary dip, and the raki was great too. Prices were really good for the quality. We tried Iskender Kofte & Mix Grill and both were honestly A+. Great food, great people, great vibe.
