Our party of five enjoyed an excellent home cooked breakfast. They were short on staff but we were more than well taken care of. We’ll definitely be back again anytime we are in the area!
Went in for the dinner service with waitress Maria and chefs Phillip and Micah. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting and warm, the service bar none, and the food (made from scratch) was delectable. I highly recommend that if you’re in the area you make a stop for dinner. Your palate will thank you!
We were visiting in this area and local people told us we should check this place out! We wanted to make reservations for lobster last night, but it rained. So, we came for breakfast and were not disappointed at all. It is as great as everyone told us. They also make their own bread. I had the raisin bread!! I don't eat very much but they accommodated me by preparing a smaller meal which was perfect! Thank you so much!
Breakfast was so good, perfect omelettes and amazing homemade bread, we came back later for afternoon dessert too!
If you want an authentic homemade real Maine diner this is it! We stopped in for lunch because we always saw cars here and had tuna salad sandwich and a BLT. Everything was very fresh - the bread was even homemade. We found out they did a special lobster meal on the weekends for Friday and Saturday night (you NEED reservations) which we couldn’t pass up and we were not disappointed. Coleslaw and corn was VERY fresh. We’re usually pretty picky about our restaurants and we don’t hand out five stars very frequently but Susan has a wonderful place here she really deserves it. We will definitely be back!!
I was staying at Cobscook Bay and stumbled across this place. It was definitely worth the stop. If you are expecting fast service, don't stop. They have one cook that is hustling in the kitchen and making some good food! I would recommend the blueberry pancakes. They were cooked well and tasted great. Everyone in my family loved their meals. We will definitely be eating here on the way out of town.
We eat there every year, when we camp at Cobscook Bay State Park Campground. Will be there tomorrow for breakfast, blueberry pancakes, yum!
