Cute little taqueria with delicious food. The regular tacos are loaded with delicious crispy juicy meat, and the red sauce pairs really well. Would highly recommend eating here!
One of the best local Mexican restaurants! They have homemade tortillas, the Best Chile relleno and flavorful rice and beans. This place never disappoints. It’s consistent with flavors, portions, and it’s a very clean and great place for quick meal! Very tasty!
The food is potentially very Good. The problem I had was I think it is a little pricey. Dad ordered the Fish or Shrimp Super burrito for $ 16 dollars. The issue is he ask for maybe half Fish & half Shrimp. Lady was sweet& very nice but should not promise ( because menu say either Fish or Shrimp...not both) so she should not promise him. I think they only gave him Shrimp. I ask him 2 times if he liked it and he never answer me ( which meant that his Shrimp burrito was not great). I guess next time I will try Super burrito myself. I order regular burrito which is $ 13 dollars with Carne Asada ( steak). I should have tried Super burrito for 2 dollars more. but Regular does come with Pico de Gallo ( tomato) but they forgot to put it in my burrito. So my Regular 13 dollar burrito had Rice,Beans, & Steak. Rice & Beans were good but not very much Beans ( I should have ask for more Bean). The steak was chewy. Flavour was good but couple of chewy pieces. It just was a small burrito for 13 dollars. The thing was the Steak was cook nice. ( mexican grocery place La Palmas gives you way more meat for only $12 burrito at grocery place but the problem with Las Palmas is that the meat is overCooked) So it is nice to find a place that the meat is cook Good. So Tustacos cook the meat Good, but they dont give you enough beans, the Burrito look small compared to Las Palmas which gives you twice as much. The thing was the Hisbiscus Tea was the best Hibiscus I ever taste so they do a good job with the Drink. They only charge us less than 4 dollars..3,50? but Menu says $ 5 dollars small but small is Medium with alot of drink ( and large was 8? I forgot). Anyhow, instead of charge us $ 5 dollars she only charge 3.50? Maybe she realize that we paid $ 16 dollars for Shrimp burrito and $ 13 dollars for Carne Asada burrito which was missing the tomato ( Pico de Gallo), so that is why she gave us discount on the drink? the bill came out to 36.50 because we use credit card. If we use Cash it would have been only $35 dollars. She was very very nice. This place is worth it if you order tacos. Tacos are only 4 dollars or 3.90? I forgot. But Tacos seem to come with alot of meat according to customer review pics. But I like Beans so I should have told her to put more beans in my Burrito because Burritos are not too big ( just medium) for more than 13 dollars. Potentially very good, just need to remember to put Pico ( or Tomato) in my Regular burrito and make the Super Burritos a little bigger to make the customer feel like its worth. But another customer told me that the soup ( Pozole) is very good. And the drinks are very good too.
I love this little chic taqueria. Great shrimp quesadillas and fabulous steak burritos, as well as vegetarian options. They sell Mexican Coca Cola here in big bottles. Also, many other drink options. They have excellent cooks and servers here. Very clean, warm and inviting. The bathroom is always super clean and to me that’s very important in any restaurant. They also take the time to make your favorite dish exactly how you love it with no problems. I came here the first day they opened this store and it’s been a weekly visit since. They have tables you can eat on outside and inside you will find a grand size dining area with very comfortable seating. A must stop if you adore Mexican great and delicious food. They open for business at 10 a.m. They are closed on Tuesdays.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful in answering questions about allergies and cross-contamination. They were also accommodating with food modifications, which was greatly appreciated. The location is convenient with ample parking, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. We ordered two burritos. While the wraps could have been a little tighter, the flavor was delicious. I also ended up trying the spicy salsa even though I originally wanted something mild, and it had great flavor. Overall, this is a good place to visit. The food was enjoyable, the service was excellent, and I especially love the location. I would definitely come back.
I grew up near East Los Angeles, and was craving Machaca, the wife wanted Tilapia. This place delivered the taste we sought.
My favorite Mexican restaurant. I love the chorizo tacos. Best home made Chorizo I’ve ever had. Highly Recommend. Friendly staff and they cater also.
